Independent Caregivers

An independent caregiver gets hired directly by the person’s family needing care and has no affiliation with a caregiving agency. They provide the necessary caregiving services and work with the family to determine their loved one’s care needs.

Independent Caregiving service:
  • Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
  • Encouraging socialization and participation in community activities
  • The ability to provide care across a variety of settings, including group homes and day service programs
Companion care

We provide companion care so consumers are able to live safely and comfortably at home. This type of care covers a range of basic tasks that may be difficult for consumers to perform on their own.

Personal care

Personal care covers hands on services to patients, while assisting them with critical day to day activities.

Support hospice and palliative care

Hospice care is available to those with a life expectancy of six months or less. Palliative care is a specialized caregiving approach that supports individuals living with a chronic illness.

We help aide physical and emotional support with hospice agencies and families during the end of life stages.

Dementia

United Family helps individuals with early stage, mid stage, and late stage dementia.

Transportation

We offer transportation services to our consumers for doctor appointments, social events, activities, and more.

Alzheimer’s

Our caregivers are trained to help care for people living with Alzheimer’s disease and providing support for the family.

Respite

Our customized respite care programs are designed to give family caregivers a chance to recharge and refresh.

Light housekeeping

United Family also provides routine and light housekeeping duties.

Activities of daily living (ADL’s)

Many consumers find it difficult to perform activities of daily living independently. United Family’s skilled and trained caregivers help to assist with those difficult tasks while helping keep consumers at home and giving their families a peace of mind.
